Please: Do not go by the attendance numbers on Meet Up to decide whether to attend or not. I get a number of other attendees from my other websites, the classes I have been teaching, the Town of Bedford offices, and referrals. The people attending ebb and flo. Some attend weekly, others once in awhile and others come once, learn, and practice at home. It is all up to how you would like to use this class. In the 6 plus years I have been teaching, over 250 people have attended at least once. That is wonderful!
Wear loose, comfortable clothes, bring along a yoga mat, pillows, blanket, cushion, etc. or anything else you may need for your comfort. Chairs are provided. Bring along a friend or colleague. Beginners to the more advanced are all welcomed.
If you are in recovery or thinking about recovery, this is a great opportunity to be with a new group of people that is so important in your longterm success.

About the Instructor: Cecilia has been teaching meditation and mindfulness classes for the Town of Bedford and the Adult Education Program in Goffstown. She also teaches the full 8-week traditional Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program as taught at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, where she received her training. In addition, Cecilia is a 22 plus year practitioner of both yoga and meditation. Those who have taken her classes are typically engaged by her enthusiasm, warmth and willingness to share her knowledge of mindfulness practices. Making people feel at ease by debunking the myths and iconic images of meditation is what keeps people coming back again and again to her classes.

LOCATION: Old Bedford Town Hall (across from the Library) Plenty of parking behind the building on Meetinghouse Road.
COST: The fee to attend is flexible. You pay any amount, from a minimum of $5 to $20, based upon both your financial need and as a show of your appreciation for my guidance, experience and instruction. I accept cash, checks and can take credit card payment right from this meetup website by clicking on the "Chip In" button and following the instructions. I share half of the fees gathered from this particular class with the Town of Bedford for lending me the room, free of charge. Your generosity helps me be able to keep providing these classes and it is deeply appreciated !
